Beste lezers,

Men hangt hier zonet een spandoek aan de common swimming pool in het resort, in Jomtien, Nongprue, waar ik verblijf, met de tekst:”Dont swimming due to Covid-19″.

Ik las echter nergens dat de zwembaden dicht moeten of heb ik het gemist? Weet iemand of het stadsbestuur van Pattaya dat reeds heeft opgelegd? Openbare zwembaden dicht?

    Lokale noch nationale overheden leggen op om zwembaden te sluiten. Bestuurders van verblijfscomplexen met gemeenschappelijke zwembaden kunnen dit wel overwegen in het belang van de veiligheid van de residenten/gasten in het complex.

    In Jomtien wordt gewoon gezwommen. Ook het strand met alle voorzieningen zijn open. Ook het zwembad in mijn condominium is open maar de fitness ruimte is gesloten.
